Directions from packaging: Adults, children and infants: Apply ointment generously to affected areas 2 to 3 times daily, or mor often if necessary, by rubbing gently into the skin. If appropriate, mild compression or occlusive bandaging may be applied.
Warnings from packaging: Traumeel should not be administered for pain for more than 10 days for adults or 5 days for children unless directed by a physician. If pain persists or worsens, if new symptoms occur, or if redness or swelling is present, the patient should consult a physician because these could be signs of a serious condition. Traumeel should not be administered to children for the pain of arthritis unless directed by a physician. In cases of pregnancy or suspected pregnancy, a physician should be consulted before administering Traumeel. Traumeel should be administered with caution to nursing mothers. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to Traumeel or any of its ingredients. In rare cases, allergic skin reactions may develop. Do not use if inner protective seal under cap is broken. For external use only. Do not apply over large areas of the body, over broken skin, or directlyinto open wounds. Store at controlled room temperature. Keep this and all medicines out of the reach of children.
