Ingredients from packaging: ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: SHAMPOO: PYRETHRUM EXTRACT EQUIVALENT TO 0.33% PYRETHRINS, PIPERONYL BUTOXIDE 4.0%. LICE SPRAY: PERMETHRIN 0.50%. INACTIVE INGREDIENTS: SHAMPOO: BENZYL ALCOHOL, C13-C14 ISOPARAFFIN, FRAGRANCE, ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL, OCTOXYNOL-9, WATER.
Directions from packaging: SHAMPOO: + First: Shampoo: 1. Apply to affected area until all the hair is thoroughly wet. 2. Allow affected area to soak for 10 minutes but no longer. 3. Add sufficient warm water forming a lather. Continue shampooing as usual. 4. Rinse affected area thoroughly as to remove the product. + Second: Comb Hair With The A200 Comb: 1. After rinsing thoroughly, comb hair using the special A200 Lice/Nit Comb supplied to remove dead lice and their eggs (nits). 2. Check for nits and recomb if necessary. 3. Wait 7 to 10 days and repeat this process as to kill any newly hatched lice. + To Prevent Reoccurence: Disinfect all personal items by machine washing in very hot water. When drying personal items use the hot cycle for a minimum of 20 minutes. Other items that cannot be washed should be treated with A200 Spray. Carpeting, sofas etc. can be sprayed and vacuumed thoroughly. LICE CONTROL SPRAY: Shake well before using. TO KILL LICE AND THEIR EGGS: Spray in an inconspicuous area to test for possible staining or discoloration. Inspect again after drying, then proceed to spray entire area to be treated. Hold container upright with nozzle away from you. Depress valve and spray from a distance of 8 to 10 inches. Spray each square foot for 3 seconds. Spray only those garments and parts of bedding, including mattresses and furniture that cannot be either laundered or dry cleaned. Allow all sprayed articles to dry thoroughly before use. Infected upholstered furniture may also be treated with this product. It is in violation of federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Do not use in food areas of food handling establishments, restaurants or other areas where food is commercially prepared or processed. Do not use in serving areas while food is exposed or facility is in operation. Serving areas are areas where prepared foods are served such as dining rooms but excluding areas where food may be prepared or held. In the home, all food processing surfaces and utensils should be covered during treatment or thoroughly washed before use.
