Warnings from packaging: Please carefully follow all directions on instruction sheet inside kit box to avoid skin & scalp burns, hair loss and eye injury. This product contains calcium hydroxide. Do not use if scalp is irritated or injured in any way. Do not use on hair that has been treated with ammonium thioglycolate (curly permed). Do not use on bleached hair, permanent colored hair, or hair that is breaking, splitting or otherwise damaged. If hair has been previously relaxed, apply only to new growth as described by the directions. If relaxer causes skin or scalp irritation, rinse out immediately and shampoo with neutralizing shampoo in this kit. If irritation persists or if hair loss occurs, consult a physician. Keep away from eyes. If relaxer gets into eyes, rinse immediately and repeatedly with water, then consult a physician. Do not rub eyes. Serious injury may result if relaxer/activator is ingested. If ingested contact a physician immediately. Do not induce vomiting.
